The first winner of Drag Race Philippines, Precious Paula Nicole, will join the drag stars of the RuPaul's Drag Race franchise, which include Season 5 and All Stars 7 winner Jinxk Monsoon, All Stars 4 winner Trinity the Tuck, Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly and RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 1 winner The Vivienne, at the RuPaul's DragCon UK 2023.
The news was announced on 14 October by the DragCon organizers and World of Wonder, the producer of the popular drag competition series, on their social media accounts.
"My precious, delicious, ambitious! It's time for the big reveal — #DragRacePH Season 1 champion Precious Paula Nicole is coming to #DragCon UK 2023!" they said.
The big gathering of drag queens and fans is slated for 6, 7 and 8 January 2023 at ExCeL London in the historic Royal Docks of London in the United Kingdom. RuPaul will attend and do a live DJ set. Judge Michelle Visage will also be appearing. Over a hundred drag queens will be featured including Lawrence Chaney, Jaida Essence Hall, Blu Hydrangea, Kylie Sonique Love, Pangina Heals, Kita Mean, Janey Jacke, and Jimbo. Among the performers at the main stage are Angeria Paris VanMichaels, Choriza May, Ginny Lemon, River Medway, Tia Kofi, Jiggly Caliente and Nicky Doll. Like other queens, Precious will be having her own booth, where she can meet fans.
Precious was declared winner on 12 October, besting 11 other contestants, in the inaugural Drag Race Philippines.
