Broadcaster Percy Lapid shot dead

Radio commentator Percy Lapid, known for his hard-hitting program "Lapid Fire," where he expressed outspoken views on political figures, was shot dead around midnight on 4 October, according to DZRH.
Video footage posted on Facebook showed police inspecting a black Innova with plate number NGS 8294 in front of the gate of a residential village in Las Piñas.
