Sorn is back with new music.
The former member of K-pop girl group CLC has released "Nirvana Girl," her fifth digital and latest single. This one alludes to her pursuit of freedom, describing its meaning "as shaking off the labels" that used to define her while learning to become the most authentic version of herself.
"Nirvana Girl" features another ex-CLC member, Yeeun. This marks the first time she and Sorn reunited after leaving the group.
Before CLC, the Bangkok-born Sorn appeared on tVN's K-Pop Star Hunt in 2011. She then moved from Bangkok to Seoul to train as a K-pop idol. She debuted together with the other members of CLC in 2015.
In 2021, Sorn left CLC and its management Cube Entertainment. She signed up with global hybrid management company Wild Group as a solo artist.
She has since released the digital singles "Run," "Sharp Objects," "Scorpio," and "Save Me." She is also featured in Emily Mei and Amber Liu's song "My Domain."
On 8 February 2021, Sorn launched her first makeup line "Don't Waste My Time" in collaboration with YT Cosmetics.
"Nirvana Girl" is on digital streaming platforms via Wild Group and Universal Music Singapore.
