Netizens on 17 September scrolled through their phones and saw a cryptic surprise: a graphic image of a yellow-color 'Ǝ' on brown background.

Posted on the individual social media pages of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, and Buddy Zabala, as well as Buendia's manager Day Cabuhat and his younger sister Elyra Buendia-del Rosario, it was taken by Eraserheads fans and friends as a teaser for a new Eheads reunion concert.

"Let me hear you sing it!" Zabala captioned the 'Ǝ' card on his Instagram past 12 noon on 17 September.

There have been two major Eheads reunion concerts — the first, in 2008, was stopped halfway cause Buendia had to be rushed to a hospital, where doctors diagnosed he had suffered a mild heart attack.

He quickly bounced back and the band went on to perform again in 2009. Held at the Mall of Asia open grounds, the concert went smoothly and reportedly drew 100,000 people.

The band would go on and play gigs abroad including the US and England.

At present, Buendia is the most high-profile among the quartet. The Eheads front man and chief songwriter has formed his own record label, Offshore Music, whose roster of artists personify the new generation of contemporary Filipino musicians.

Buendia himself has continued playing with his own bands, the latest being Apartel with two women as members, and another one as himself, with Nitoy Adriano on lead guitar.

Zabala plays bass with Moonstar 88.

Marasigan is still with Sandwich.

Zabala and Marasigan sometimes perform as Ultracombo.

Adoro has uploaded new songs on YouTube and is also into painting.
