GERONA, TARLAC — Residents of this town is seen to benefit from the various completed infrastructures here by the Department of Public Works and Highways-Tarlac 1st District Engineering Office.
According to District Engineer Neil Farala, the agency has completed four multipurpose covered courts in the different barangays that have an allotted total budget of P26.41 million.
The multipurpose covered courts are located in the barangays of Matapitap, Luna, Danzo and Buenlag.
"These projects are part of the Department's Basic Infrastructure Program which aims to support the delivery of services social at the barangay level through infrastructure development," Farala said.
"We are pleased that the local officials and residents of the beneficiary barangays are satisfied with the completion of these multipurpose facilities and these are just some of the infrastructure projects that we will continue to implement in the town of Gerona," he added.
The official also reported that the construction of a farm-to-market road in Barangay New Salem of the said town has also been completed.
