President Bongbong Marcos has appointed Agnes Devanadera as acting president and chief executive officer of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Malacañang announced on 3 September.
In a statement released to reporters, Press Sec. Trixie Cruz Angeles confirmed the appointment of Devanadera, who will also serve as member of the CDC's board of directors.
She will replace Manuel R. Gaerlan.
Devanadera, 72, was chairperson of the Energy Regulatory Commision from 2017 to 2022.
She was Solicitor General from 2007 to 2010, the first woman to hold the post.
