“Leni’s yellows certainly know that she is incapable of succeeding in stopping the drug war.

Now that’s truly an effective way for a needling, wheedling vice president to finally shut up on her false claims of the failed war on drugs waged by President Duterte, without as usual, checking on the official files before yapping.

Duterte on Monday announced he is willing to cede his law enforcement powers to Vice President Leni Robredo for six months after she issued a fresh criticism of his administration’s deadly war on drugs. He said he will soon be sending a letter to Robredo on making her his drug czar for six months. He added that he will be sending her a letter for this purpose.

Robredo certainly did not expect such a move from the President and she is not likely to jump on becoming Duterte’s drug czar, knowing that she is not only incapable of handling the reins of the drug war, especially as she rattles off inflated figures, does not even bother to check with the various government agencies that are actively involved in the stoppage of the illegal drugs in the billions of pesos, through the smuggling activities of the big time drug lords and yes, some of their accomplices in the Customs bureau and more, to get the smuggled drugs out and distributed to destroy more young lives who are already hooked on drugs.

Already, her usual yellows have already made excuses, making it appear that Leni is not afraid to take over the reins to succeed where she earlier claimed, Duterte failed to quell the drug war.

Leni’s yellows certainly know that she is incapable of succeeding in stopping the drug war, despite her being in the anti-drug war throne, and worse, neither will the killings stop, legitimate or not — even if she is to be on top of the drug war.

Liberal Party president, Senator Kiko Pangilinan tried to extricate her out of the mess she and the yellows created, knowing that Leni would end up a failure if she even tries to take on the drug war. He then tried to make it appear that his vice president and their puppet — their only hope — via death, impeachment, resignation and permanent incapacitation — to regain the throne and turn the Palace to yellow again — is not only willing to take on the Duterte challenge but then tried getting her out of it by giving his own conditions, which is highly stupid, considering the fact that this is offered by the President by naming her his drug czar, under his conditions.

He who has the power to pick his appointees in his administration, certainly can’t be told that acceptance of the job offered by Duterte for six months will only be accepted by the Vice President on a three year stay in charge of the drug war.

This is the yellows’ way of trying to get out of the hole they and Leni have dug themselves in and deeply, knowing that they, especially Leni, can’t cope with the problem of eradicating the illegal drugs and would even make it worse.

But why ask for three years for Leni, when Duterte, in six months, already made a big headway in his war on drugs? But then, perhaps in six months, with her yellows rooting her on, the yellows can be trusted to come this time, with deflated figures on the drug war with Leni as drug czar and even in three months.

The yellows never gave Duterte even the six-month ultimatum succeeding in the drug war, and through their black propaganda, made it appear that he was killing hundreds by the day and hitting tens of thousand deaths of “innocent” people in just a month.

So now Duterte comes up with an offer that Leni will surely reject even as she speaks as though she can take on the presidency.

Duterte was quoted as saying that he will surrender his powers to enforce the law. “I will give this power to the Vice President. I will give her six months. Let her do the job. Let’s see what happens. I will not interfere. You (Robredo) are brighter (than me?) Okay It’s (the job) yours. Try it!”

He stressed that he is giving her the job, “Anytime. If you want it today, I will call her. I can talk to her tonight and I will order it tomorrow. Everybody should follow her in the matter of a drug issue. She has the job.”

Will Leni take on the job of being Duterte’s drug czar? Chances are nil for her to accept the job. She certainly knows she will fail at it and not even her false claim of “tweaking” the drug war will be of help to her.

Robredo is certainly highly incapable of handling the drug war. Not even her yellow patron succeeded in eradicating the drug war during the long six-year yellow regime and a yellow president in the throne who is known to this day as the do-nothing president.

To put it bluntly, Leni is incapable of handling even the presidency. And the electorate knows it, which is why she stands no chance of winning the presidency through the ballot.

Duterte has thrown down the gauntlet on the drug war issue. Well Leni, pick up the gauntlet or shut the f—k up.
