Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 Vanessa Mae Walters was stripped of her title over nude photos of herself posted online, the Miss World Philippines Organization announced Friday.
The Organization cited Walters’ indecency and unprofessional behavior as reasons for recalling her title.
“The Miss Eco Teen International Organization has called our attention to nude photos of Ms. Walters circulating online and posted on her own social media accounts,” according to the organization.
Walters also publicly displayed alcohol and tobacco use, it said.
The other offenses of Walters were failure to attend official functions to promote Miss Eco Teen Philippines, walking out on meetings with the national director and refusing to sign the contract with the organization, the organization said.
“The offenses she has committed warrant the removal of her title as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 winner and its corresponding prizes,” it added.
Meanwhile, the Organization officially proclaimed Mary Daena Zaide Ressureccion as the new Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019.
Ressureccion will be competing in Cairo this November for Miss Eco Teen.
