Sen. Bong Go joins the 118th Balangiga Day Commemoration in Eastern Samar on Saturday.
BALANGIGA, Eastern Samar―The long list of so-called “ninja cops” is still undergoing validation even as President Rodrigo Duterte is likewise cross validating the list with the help of the intelligence community.
The President will bare the names of policemen on the list when he comes back from his 1 to 5 October state visit in Russia, Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go told the media here over the weekend.
Go said the President will offer rewards to apprehend the rogue policemen―P500,000 for those captured alive, P1 million if dead and P2 million if the policeman will fight back.

Upon his return from Russia, Go said President Duterte will make the list public as it is the right of every Filipino to know who are involved in the rampant recycling of illegal drugs.
Despite the list, Go said the President still has high regards for the whole Philippine National Police and the leadership of outgoing chief General Oscar Albayalde.
“Respetado ang ating mga kapulisan, ginagalang sila ngayon,” he said. “Huwag nating sayangin ang na-redeem na respeto ng PNP na ibinibigay ng tao dahil lang po nahaluan ng iilan. Iilan lang po ito.”
On Tuesday, the Senate Blue Ribbon committee will conduct another hearing regarding the “ninja cops” but Go, who was here on Saturday for the 118th Balangiga Day Commemoration, said he has yet to know the names of people who will be summoned.
