This photo was uploaded by a group of students of the Marinduque State College. In the background, it can be seen that a portion of a building is burning, which they captioned as “groufie muna habang inaapula ang sunog #bangonboac #kayaNATINto #power.” It was quickly slammed by netizens and members of numerous Facebook groups including Proud to be Marinduqueño (Palasyo ng kaharian), which has 59,000+ members to date.

According to them, it was a disrespectful act and such an incident should not be treated as a joke. Shortly after, the students apologized. Netizens reminded them to think before they post anything on social media.
