The 74th edition of Manila FAME 2026 officially concluded as a triumphant celebration of Filipino ingenuity, putting local craftsmanship in full bloom at the World Trade Center.

The prestigious trade show was graced by the inspiring presence of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, alongside Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina “Cris” Roque, who collectively championed the exceptional creations of local MSMEs and artisan communities.

This year’s momentous event was further elevated by the active participation of Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Senator Mark Villar, alongside trade undersecretaries and delegates, signaling a united government front dedicated to bolstering the nation’s creative economy and expanding its global export base.

Legendary design visionaries and industry pillars, including Kenneth Cobonpue, Tony Gonzales, Milo Naval, and DTI Assistant Secretary Al Valenciano, spearheaded the collaborative showcases.

These masters guided regional artisans to transform indigenous fibers, clay, and wood into modern masterpieces. From breathtaking furniture to eco-friendly home decor that captured the coveted KATHA Awards, the entire event proved that the future of global Philippine design relies heavily on our harmonic relationship with nature and the preservation of our natural ecosystems.

The exhibition doors closed with an optimistic wave of patriotic pride echoing across the local design community. A vibrant dawn for the nation’s soul, Manila FAME 2026 wove ancestral threads into the tapestry of the modern world, giving wings to Filipino talent.Trickie Lopa, Maja Olivares Co, Christine Sicangco and Quiccs Maiquez.
