P2.75M in suspected shabu seized in Iligan

Anti-drug operatives arrested a suspected drug pusher and confiscated approximately ₱2.75 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation at the Iligan Bus and Jeepney Terminal in Barangay Hinaplanon, Iligan City, on Friday, 9 October 2026.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Northern Mindanao (PDEA-10) said authorities recovered three packets containing 405 grams of suspected shabu from the suspect, identified only as “Sultan.”

The suspect claimed he had merely been instructed to deliver the illegal drugs. He was taken to the PDEA regional office in Misamis Oriental for investigation and drug testing.

Charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against him.
