LTO summons rider over Antipolo hit-and-run

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned a motorcycle rider and suspended his license for 90 days following a hit-and-run incident in Antipolo City involving the vehicle of television host Cianne Dominguez.
The action came after Dominguez, a host on the noontime program “It’s Showtime,” requested regulatory assistance from the transportation agency to identify the motorist and initiate formal administrative proceedings.
The LTO’s Intelligence and Investigation Division issued a Show Cause Order directing both the registered motorcycle owner and the rider involved to appear at the agency’s headquarters on 9 October 2026 to submit sworn affidavits and supporting documentation regarding the collision.
According to the order, the rider faces potential administrative charges for reckless driving and failure to perform a driver’s statutory duty in the event of an accident.
Regulators cited the vehicle owner may also face liability for allowing an unauthorized individual to operate the motorcycle.
Pending the outcome of the inquiry, the agency ordered the rider to surrender his driver’s license immediately under a 90-day preventive suspension order.
The LTO also placed the Suzuki motorcycle involved in the incident under alarm status, restricting its registration and transfer while formal proceedings remain active.
