Complaint file against Police official

(October 06 2026) National Police Commission Commissioner Atty. Rafael Calinisan accompanies complainants against Police Col. Froilan Uy, an active-duty police officer, facing multiple administrative complaints before the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM). This follows a complaint filed on Tuesday, October 6 2026, by residents of Baliwag, Bulacan, who claim to be victims of Uy and his mistress, Filipinas Cunanan y Tecson. During a press briefing, the complainants detailed their ordeal involving the police officer and Cunanan, citing incidents such as, allegedly ordering a barrage of gunfire at their home, filing cases against them in Pasay and Taguig, despite them being residents of Bulacan, and failing to redeem a vehicle pawned to one of the complainants. According to the complainants, an hour after the shooting, Cunanan allegedly posted a social media story stating she was sleeping soundly and that the incident was "just a taste" of what was to come, along with other acts of intimidation.
