2 men shot dead inside Tondo home


Two men were killed after four armed men allegedly opened fire inside their home along Molave Street in Tondo, Manila, early Saturday.
The incident happened at around 2 a.m. in Barangay 194, according to the Manila Police District Homicide Division.
The victims were both men, one of whom was 42 years old, police said.
Initial investigation showed that four armed men entered the house and quickly shot the victims while they were asleep.
Authorities suspect that the killings were related to an illegal drug operation. A manhunt for the suspects is ongoing.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was arrested after allegedly being caught with a firearm in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City.
According to a report from the Malabon City Police Station, personnel of Sub-Station 2 responded after receiving information about an armed man in the area.
During the verification and operation, police seized a firearm and three rounds of ammunition from the suspect.
