University of Perpetual Help System Dalta sizzled early before blasting La Salle Greenhills, 108-86, to tally their fourth straight victory in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 102 juniors’ basketball tournament on Thursday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Lord Dulanas paced the attack, dropping 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Junior Altas, who erected a 15-2 lead early on to set the stage for the masterful victory.
Rookie Sizco Roquid also delivered as he finished with 16 points, five rebounds and a steal while Francis Rosales fired 3-of-4 from the three-point area to register 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Louie Rosales also shone, chipping in 13 markers on 3-of-7 from the field.
Gilas Pilipinas Youth standout Patrick Pasinos, on the other hand, carried the torch for the Greenies with 31 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, five steals and five blocks.
Perpetual coach Joph Cleofas praised his wards, saying that their solid outside shooting, where they went 15-of-30 from the rainbow area, served as the key to their impressive victory against the Greenies, who are considered as a serious threat in their bid to regain the NCAA title that they last lifted in Season 100.
