Manila Water Foundation (MWF) and Clark Water continue to provide aid to residents of flooded Pampanga towns, delivering 1,000 units of 5-gallon of potable water to San Fernando and San Simon.

Five hundred 5-gallon water were given to families from the 18 hardest-hit barangays of San Fernando while the same quantity delivered to San Simon barangays benefitted 3,705 individuals and families, as part of MWF’s Agapay: WASH in Emergencies relief project.

Through the said relief distribution, MWF ensures access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene in distressing times and sustains support for local governments in delivering services for distressed families, according to its Facebook post.  

Earlier, the Foundation and the Manila Water Marikina Service Area provided support to the municipal government of Rodriguez, Rizal by distributing 5-gallon potable water to hundreds of families affected by flash floods in Barangay San Isidro and Barangay San Jose.

Some 350 units of 5-gallon of potable drinking water were distributed to displaced families in Kasiglahan 1K2 Phase 1 and Pag-asa Village, supporting 2,466 individuals.

Manila Water Marikina Service Area, which services the town, also deployed five water tankers and four trucks to assist the local government in road clearing operations.

By working hand in hand with local government units and partners, the Foundation continues to help safeguard public health and support the recovery and resilience of vulnerable communities.
