The SportsPlus Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) 2026 Season games scheduled on Monday at the Malolos Convention Center in Bulacan have been postponed due to the intermittent heavy rains and possible flooding in the area.
MPBL commissioner Emmerson Oreta said the health and safety of the teams, working staff, and fans are of utmost importance to them so they are postponing the games between Zamboanga and Manila, Cebu and Meycauayan Marilao, and Gensan and Bulacan. The new date for the postponed games will be announced soon.
Weather-permitting, the MPBL returns to the Pasay Astrodome on Tuesday, with games pitting Sarangani against Imus at 5 p.m., and Pasig against Pasay at 7 p.m.
