DigiPlus Interactive Corp. won three Awards of Excellence at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards for its communication initiatives covering corporate growth, integrated reporting, and responsible gaming advocacy.
Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators Philippines, the Quill Awards recognize organizations for strategic thinking, creativity, and impact in business communication. The operator behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone earned honors across the audio-visual, publications, and social media categories.
In the audio-visual category, the company won for its short film "Dating Gawi: A Celebration of Trusted and Timeless Digital Entertainment for Filipinos." Developed during regulatory changes in the local online gaming industry, the nostalgia-themed campaign generated nearly 7.9 million views by reassuring audiences of safe, regulated entertainment on official platforms.
The company's 22nd Quill recognition in publications went to the DigiPlus 2024 Integrated Report, titled "Reimagining Fun, the Filipino Way." Inspired by Filipino carnival themes, the disclosure combined financial results, sustainability goals, responsible gaming measures, and climate risk evaluations using international reporting standards.
In the social media category, DigiPlus won for its yearlong "Ang Gaming, Dapat Fun-Fun Lang!" campaign. The initiative used skits, ambassador videos, instructional materials, and influencer partnerships to advocate for safe play and regulated platforms, accumulating 7.3 million views across owned and creator channels.
DigiPlus president Ping Chen said the recognitions validate the role of strategic communication in building stakeholder trust. Chen added that the firm remains committed to transparent messaging and promoting responsible entertainment as the business expands.
