  • Not all wedding gatecrashers are bad.

For a couple exchanging I dos at a campground on the banks of the Owens River in Mammoth Lakes, California, on 8 August, their unexpected guests were most welcome Country music star Shaboozey and about three dozen people were floating by on the river in inner tubes mid-ceremony when the bride and groom took the opportunity to have them be part of the celebration, People reports.

The wedding planner, Callie Smith, asked Shaboozey if they could have a photo op and the singer agreed.

The bride and groom posed and kissed at the edge of the grassy riverbank as Shaboozey and his friends floated by behind them, according to People.

The singer and his floating entourage cheered and toasted the couple with their beer as they continued on down the river and the wedding resumed.

Smith posted a video of the brief yet joyous interaction on Instagram the next day and it went viral, getting 500,000 likes, People reports.

Meanwhile, a Queens, New York couple were sightseeing at Yellowstone National Park on 24 July when they got a ping from their home security system informing them that there was someone in their posh apartment on Purves Street in Long Island City, New York Post (NYP) reports.

Bill and Yelim Kim were shocked to see a woman walking around in their home, helping herself to a drink and lounging around.

When the woman found the camera watching her and she ripped it off the bookshelf where it stood, the Kims called police and two friends went to the apartment and confronted the intruder, according to NYP.

The woman left when told to but came back after a few minutes using a duplicate key. The police then arrived and took her away in an ambulance.

The Kims later learned from the building management that the doorman had given their apartment key to the woman who had posed as their dogwalker, NYP reports.

The building management said in an email to the tenants that the doorman was removed and security measures were enhanced.

The intruder actually returned and tried to get in again but was turned away, according to NYP.
