  • Two barangays in Hermosa, Bataan, Sto. Cristo and Almaden, experienced flooding on Sunday, 9 August, as heavy rains continued to affect the province.

San Pedro," she said.

Adorable-Inton urged residents in affected areas to evacuate when necessary and prioritize the safety of their families. She also called on the public to remain vigilant and heed advisories and warnings from the local government.

The Hermosa local government activated its evacuation center in Barangay San Pedro on Saturday, ensuring that the facility was ready to accommodate evacuees as heavy rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon or Habagat continued.

Bataan remains under a Red Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by state weather bureau PAGASA.
