Consumers usually experience a smartphone only after it reaches store shelves, but actress and vivo Philippines ambassador Anne Curtis recently received a rare behind-the-scenes look at how the vivo X300 Ultra is made.
During her visit to vivo Global Headquarters in Dongguan, China, Curtis toured the company’s production facilities and explored the technology, craftsmanship and people behind vivo’s latest flagship smartphone.
Curtis watched smartphones move through the production line as robotic arms assembled components with millimeter-level precision and engineers monitored each stage of the manufacturing process.
Powered by advanced manufacturing technology, vivo produces a new smartphone every 11.4 seconds.
The pace reflects the company’s combination of intelligent automation and strict quality control as it supplies devices to users worldwide.
Curtis also learned that producing the vivo X300 Ultra involves more than efficient assembly.
Before reaching consumers, each flagship device undergoes several rounds of testing for performance, durability and imaging quality. The process is designed to ensure that the smartphone delivers the premium experience expected from vivo’s X Series.
The tour gave Curtis a deeper appreciation of the engineering, craftsmanship and attention to detail invested in every device.
As someone who has spent years in front of the camera, Curtis was particularly drawn to the technology powering the vivo X300 Ultra’s imaging system.
She learned more about ZEISS, the German optics company with more than 180 years of experience in precision imaging and lens innovation.
The global partnership between vivo and ZEISS combines optical expertise with smartphone engineering to advance mobile photography.
Through the collaboration, vivo aims to help users capture portraits, landscapes and everyday moments with professional-level detail and clarity.
For Curtis, the experience showed that every memorable photograph begins long before the shutter button is pressed.
By the end of the tour, Curtis gained a deeper understanding of what happens before the vivo X300 Ultra reaches consumers, from intelligent manufacturing and quality testing to the technology behind its camera system.
Her visit offered a rare look at the journey behind vivo’s flagship imaging smartphone.
More videos from Curtis’ China trip will be released through vivo Philippines’ Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X and TikTok pages.
The vivo X300 Ultra is available for P109,999 at vivo concept stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store.
Customers who purchase through the vivo e-store will receive a vivo X Series VIP Exclusive package, a limited-edition vivo Watch GT 2 and a vivo Photography Bag while supplies last.
