EastWest Ageas has been certified as a Great Place To Work for the second consecutive year after receiving an 85-percent employee satisfaction rating, 20 points above the average employer, according to the global workplace culture authority.
The life insurance company said the recognition reflects its efforts to foster a workplace culture centered on employee well-being, engagement and career development. Among its initiatives is the WFH 2.0 program, which requires employees to report to the office twice a week while allowing flexibility to balance work and personal responsibilities. The company also conducts training programs and encourages employees to contribute ideas and lead initiatives within their respective departments.
Lois Dalida, EastWest Ageas chief people and culture officer, said the company remains committed to creating an environment where employees can thrive.
“We are humbled and grateful to receive the certification once more. At EastWest Ageas, we value fostering a workplace culture that ensures our people thrive both in their professional and personal lives. This milestone only pushes us to continue pursuing this purpose and explore more ways to live up to our status as a Great Place to Work,” Dalida said.
The company said 94 percent of its employees reported feeling welcomed when they joined the organization, while its time-to-fill hiring rate increased from 50 percent to 69 percent over the past year.
EastWest Ageas is a joint venture between EastWest Bank and Belgium-based insurer Ageas. It has more than 1,000 financial consultants and over 400 employees supporting its operations across the Philippines.
