The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) released the first tranche of the P60-million scholarship fund for 2,000 students from Bulacan to the local provincial government during a turnover ceremony at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on 6 July 2026.
A total 1,000 incoming college freshmen enrolled in four-year degree programs and 1,000 students pursuing technical-vocational education are the beneficiaries of the Ayudang Hatid ay Tagumpay Scholarship Program.
PAGCOR chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco said the fund represents the agency’s investment in youth who will help develop not only Bulacan but the whole country. He added that PAGCOR will fund the construction of 10 three-story school buildings in Bulacan and the establishment of the Bulacan Sports Academy for aspiring athletes.
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando thanked PAGCOR for the assistance that will expand educational opportunities for young people of the province.
