Across the Philippines, meaningful progress often begins with simple but transformative interventions: A classroom powered by solar energy, a scholarship that allows a young student to finish college, a mother who gains digital skills and secures work from home, or a forest restored to protect communities from the impacts of climate change.
These are the building blocks of the Aboitiz Foundation’s long-term commitment to nation-building.
Guided by the belief that sustainable development requires investments that endure, the Foundation has sharpened its focus on three flagship pillars — Future Leaders, Jobs, and Climate Action — creating programs that address today’s needs while preparing communities for tomorrow’s opportunities.

ABOITIZ Future Leaders scholars are provided full tuition support, monthly stipends, mentorship from industry professionals, internships across the Aboitiz Group, and leadership development opportunities that prepare them to become future changemakers.
Empowering the next generation of leaders
Education remains at the heart of inclusive development.
Through the Aboitiz Future Leaders College Scholarship Program, deserving Filipino students receive more than financial assistance. Scholars are provided full tuition support, monthly stipends, mentorship from industry professionals, internships across the Aboitiz Group, and leadership development opportunities that prepare them to become future changemakers.

ABOITIZ Group’s unified disaster response platform mobilizes employees, partners and resources to provide immediate relief while helping communities recover and become more resilient after emergencies.
Complementing this effort is AuroraPH, one of the Foundation’s most ambitious education initiatives. Designed to bridge the country’s educational and digital divide, AuroraPH brings solar power systems, reliable internet connectivity, digital learning tools, and teacher capacity-building to geographically isolated and disadvantaged schools.
With a goal of supporting 300 last-mile schools nationwide, AuroraPH is transforming learning environments where electricity and internet access were once considered luxuries. By enabling students and teachers to connect with digital learning resources, the initiative ensures that geography no longer determines educational opportunity.
Together, these programs reflect a simple but powerful belief: when young Filipinos are equipped with knowledge, technology, and opportunity, they become catalysts for stronger communities and a stronger nation.
Opening doors to the digital economy
As technology reshapes the future of work, the Aboitiz Foundation is helping ensure that vulnerable sectors are not left behind.
Its flagship livelihood initiative, Elevate AIDA, equips disadvantaged Filipino women with artificial intelligence data annotation skills that enable flexible, home-based employment. Implemented in partnership with Connected Women and government agencies, the program provides participants with industry-relevant training while allowing them to balance work with family responsibilities.
The initiative has become more than a digital skills program — it has become a pathway toward financial independence, particularly for women in underserved, rural, and conflict-affected communities.
Building on this success, the Foundation introduced AIDA Plus, an expanded skills-to-employment platform that strengthens the pathway from training to sustainable careers. Through advanced digital skills development, TESDA certifications, and direct employer linkages, AIDA Plus prepares Filipinos for emerging opportunities in the rapidly growing digital economy.

Together, Elevate AIDA and AIDA Plus support the Foundation’s long-term vision of creating 300,000 digital livelihood opportunities, demonstrating that inclusive economic growth begins with accessible education and future-ready skills.
Investing in nature for future generations
Climate resilience has become one of the country’s most urgent priorities, and the Foundation continues to invest in solutions that generate lasting environmental and community benefits.
Through CarbonPH, Aboitiz Foundation is pursuing one of the Philippines’ most significant nature-based climate initiatives. The program focuses on forest restoration, watershed management, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem protection, with a long-term commitment to restore and protect more than 40,000 to 71,000 hectares of forest landscapes, primarily within the Central Cebu Protected Landscape and surrounding ecosystems.

CARBONPH aims to restore and protect more than 40,000 to 71,000 hectares of forest landscapes, primarily within the Central Cebu Protected Landscape and surrounding ecosystems.
Designed as a multi-decade effort, CarbonPH recognizes that protecting forests also protects water resources, strengthens biodiversity, reduces disaster risks, supports local livelihoods, and contributes to global climate goals.
Beyond reforestation, the Foundation continues to promote environmental stewardship through initiatives such as Cleanergy Park, which serves as a hub for biodiversity conservation and environmental education, and the Pawikan Conservation Program, dedicated to protecting endangered marine turtles and coastal ecosystems through habitat preservation, research, and community participation.
Partnerships that multiply impact
Underlying every flagship program is a commitment to collaboration.
Working alongside national government agencies, local governments, educational institutions, development organizations, private companies, and community partners, the Foundation continues to expand the reach and sustainability of its initiatives.
This collaborative approach also extends to humanitarian action through OneAboitiz Response, the Aboitiz Group’s unified disaster response platform that mobilizes employees, partners, and resources to provide immediate relief while helping communities recover and become more resilient after emergencies.
Meanwhile, youth development extends beyond the classroom through the Aboitiz Football Cup, the country’s longest-running grassroots football tournament, which nurtures discipline, teamwork, leadership, and character among thousands of young athletes across the Philippines.

Creating lasting impact
As the Aboitiz Foundation continues to evolve as the “Foundation of the Future,” its mission remains grounded in creating opportunities that outlast individual projects.
Whether connecting a remote school to electricity and the internet, supporting scholars through college, preparing women for digital careers, restoring critical forest landscapes, responding during disasters, or empowering young athletes, each initiative contributes to a larger vision of inclusive and sustainable national development.
By investing in people, creating pathways to meaningful work, and protecting the natural systems that sustain communities, Aboitiz Foundation demonstrates that lasting progress is achieved not through isolated interventions, but through integrated solutions that empower Filipinos to build a better future — for themselves and for generations to come.
