Vlogger Ogie Diaz said he was surprised by an apparent awkward exchange with Kim Chiu after they crossed paths near the It's Showtime studio.

In his latest vlog, Diaz recalled passing by Vice Ganda's dressing room when Chiu allegedly greeted him with, "Buti naman pinapasok kayo?" He said he replied, "Bakit, bawal ba?" because he was caught off guard by the remark.

Diaz said he was unsure why Chiu made the comment, adding that the actress could have simply ignored him instead.

He suggested Chiu may have spoken impulsively, citing her previous "bawal lumabas" remark during the pandemic and a recent on-air gaffe on It's Showtime.

Diaz also speculated that Chiu may still be upset over a past incident in which he publicly disclosed that she had declined an invitation to appear on his online show. According to Diaz, the revelation reportedly offended the actress and may have caused lingering tension between them.
