The strength of Sara as a presidential candidate is overvalued. In truth, Sara, after the impeachment effort, which was derailed by solons under her wing, may have made her ratings dive both here and abroad.
This is an open letter to ex-VP Leni Robredo.
It is very urgent that we find someone who can face Sara in the coming presidential election. We are afraid it is only you, Leni, who can face her squarely and win. The destiny of the nation and the Filipino people are at stake. We hope that you will be willing to consider this sacrifice for the country and the people. Do not fear, as we are millions behind you.
Sara is very close to China, and is seen by political observers as one who will continue her father’s legacy. Her father Digong said that we, as a nation, cannot defy the Chinese giant and might as well work with her. He belittled our legal victories at The Hague, where the international court issued a landmark decision asserting that the West Philippine Sea (WPS) indeed belonged to the Philippines according to international law.
Step 1. “Invasion” of the WPS. Receiving Digong’s blessings, China launched a campaign of harassment against the Philippine Coast Guard and Filipino residents and fishermen in the WPS, employing water cannons, lasers, and ramming Filipino vessels. The Coast Guard was reportedly infiltrated and controlled by Chinese elements. This was all Digong’s fault, and may become Sara’s if she is elected.
Step 2. “Invasion” by the Chinese Mafia et al. The massive entry of the Chinese by the millions, many of whom bribed their way to receive legal status, not only corrupted our law enforcers, who are supposed to protect us, but gave a message to the Chinese that they can do anything in our nation, as long as they pay their way through.
This gave birth to the POGO — now banned — controversy. POGOs, because of their windfall profits, could buy law enforcers at will, set up their own exclusive Chinese communities where their secret crimes could be carried out, and supported Chinese crime groups in their torture tactics, kidnapping of children for pedophile prostitution and the organ trade, etc.
Of course, our law enforcers who were beyond bribing, raided and jailed the POGO mobsters, foreigners and locals, leading the way for the total POGO ban.
If Sara will continue her father’s legacy, it is possible that the POGOs will come back. Not only will the old ways under her father return but also spread two-fold to five-fold in size and strength. New creative ways of sucking up our resources for China will be cooked up.
It is therefore crucial that we find a rival to Sara for the presidency and Leni is perceived as the only one who can do that. Her following as shown on social media coverage of the last election campaign was massive.
Everyone was thinking she would surely win, not knowing that it was easy to perform massive invisible cheating through IT consultants, not to mention control of the Comelec and the Supreme Court.
In summary, the ways to save the Philippines from China’s clutches include:
1) Not voting for a pro-China candidate;
2) Getting a powerful, charismatic “maka-Diyos, maka-bayan, maka-tao” rival, namely, Leni, aided by the pink movement as presidential candidate;
3) Neutralizing Sara’s influence on the Comelec and the Supreme Court;
4) Contain the cheating by reverting from a digital to an analog voting system, perhaps more cumbersome but less cheating by about 50 percent; and last but not least;
5) A massive prayer campaign led perhaps by the CBCP and other church organizations and charismatic prelates. How can we lose if the Lord is on our side?
