

The Quezon City Police District reported this Friday that it had confiscated shabu amounting to P215,560 in two separate operations this week.
Authorities from the District Drug Enforcement Unit were said to have conducted a buy-bust operation for an alias “Bryan” last February 24 near his residence in Barangay Bahay Toro in Quezon City at 3:10 p.m.
The 32 year old was said to have possessed 24.70 grams of shabu which costs P167,960. A cellphone, motorcycle, and the buy-bust money was also retrieved from the suspect.
On the following day, officers from the Novaliches Police Station 4 detained a 29-year old alias “John Michael” at his home in Barangay Capri, Novaliches, Quezon City.
John Michael was found to have seven grams of shabu that was worth P47,600.
Quezon Police noted that the suspects are set to face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
QCPD Chief Police. Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio praised his officers for their commitment to cracking down on drug-related activities in the area.
“The QCPD remains committed to delivering serbisyong mabilis, matapat, at nararamdaman, as part of our collective effort to ensure a drug-free Quezon City,” Silvio said.
