Technology firm Data Lake Inc. has strengthened its support for digital inclusion efforts through its partnership with the Her Legacy Project Foundation’s ConnectED program, an initiative aimed at closing learning gaps in underserved and last-mile communities.
Led by Tootsy Angara under the Her Legacy ConnectED program, the initiative provides students with devices and reliable internet connectivity, enabling them to access educational resources and participate more fully in an increasingly digital learning environment.
Data Lake, the first authorized Starlink reseller and integrator in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, said its role has been crucial in delivering satellite-powered connectivity to remote areas where traditional infrastructure remains limited. By deploying satellite-based solutions, the company helps ensure that geographic location does not prevent students from going online.
The collaboration underscores what Data Lake describes as a guiding principle: that connectivity must be reliable, accountable and purpose-driven. Supporting ConnectED, the company said, strengthens the digital backbone that allows students not only to access the internet, but also to expand their opportunities through education.
As digital access becomes more central to learning and economic mobility, initiatives such as ConnectED highlight the growing role of private sector partnerships in bridging the country’s connectivity divide.
