P792K worth of Marijuana confiscated, two arrested in Olongapo City

Some P792,622.56-worth of marijuana were confiscated by authorities, as well as two suspects being arrested during a buy-bust operation held at Barangay New Cabalan in Olongapo City, Zambales on February 10, 2026.

According to the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO), the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (CPDEU) and the Police Station 4 conducted the operation at around 3:35am of the said date at Purok 6, Limbas Street.

The operation resulted in the arrest of two newly identified High Value Individuals (HVIs).

The operation also led to the confiscation of seven heat-sealed plastic sachet of high-grade marijuana with a weight of 450.894 grams and a standard drug price of P676,341.00; a stalk of marijuana weighing 969.013 grams worth P116,281.56; and the buy-bust money.

The total amount of the illegal drugs confiscated was at P792,622.56.

The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were taken to the CPDEU for proper disposition and filing of cases against them.
