First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos has once again expressed pride in the talents of Filipino artists upon seeing their works displayed at Art Fair Philippines 2026 at Circuit, Makati City.
“So inspiring to see contemporary Filipino artists take center stage — sharing powerful stories through bold, thoughtful, and powerful works. And yes, the long lines said it all,” Mrs. Marcos wrote on her Instagram on Monday.
“Congratulations to everyone who made this possible. Like they say — the more, the merrier!”
Let’s keep supporting and celebrating Filipino creativity,” she said.
Taking place from 6 to 8 February, Art Fair Philippines spotlighted Filipino contemporary art while uniting top galleries from across the country with international exhibitors from France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Spain.
Art Fair Philippines is an annual exhibition featuring 10 artists, led by Imelda Cajipe Endaya, who focus on contemporary social realities with a particular emphasis on women’s empowerment.
Endaya is known in the Philippine contemporary art scene for her mixed media works, which incorporate objects from daily life.
