The Ayala Group and the Southern Police District (SPD) have formalized a partnership to enhance public safety and security across major business hubs in southern Metro Manila.
In a signing ceremony, the Ayala Group Corporate Security Council and the SPD established a memorandum of understanding to cover the cities of Makati, Taguig, Pasay and Parañaque.
The agreement formalizes a long-standing relationship between the conglomerate and law enforcement in areas that host several Ayala malls, offices, and residential developments.
The collaboration involves security chiefs from various Ayala business units, including ACEN, Ayala Property Management Corp., BPI, Globe and Makati Development Corp., working alongside city police chiefs.
It focuses on operational coordination, joint patrols, and the sharing of security information to improve crime prevention and deterrence.
“At Ayala, we firmly believe that security is fundamental to resilience and sustainable growth,” said retired Gen. Manny Bautista, Ayala Corporation managing director and head of security management.
