Palaweños have received land titles under the expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program.

In compliance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Human Settlements Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling led the awarding of certificates of entitlement (CoEs) to the first batch of beneficiaries in the municipality of Narra under Presidential Proclamation 574 signed in 2004.

“In line with the directive of President Marcos to promote a more dignified way of living, we bring you peace of mind and security over the land you have occupied for more than two decades,” Aliling said.

“This is only the beginning. Many more Palawan families will benefit as we continue to advance the Expanded 4PH program,” he added.

About 2,000 families in Palawan are set to benefit from the proclamation.

Lots covered under programs

Following his appointment to head the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) in May last year, Aliling recalibrated the 4PH program, expanding it to include the awarding of lots under decades-old presidential proclamations covering lands declared suitable for housing nationwide.

The DHSUD vowed to sustain the positive momentum of the nationwide rollout of the Expanded 4PH to benefit more Filipino families through various housing modalities.

Previously, CoEs were also awarded to beneficiaries in Los Baños, Laguna.

Joining Aliling were Senior Undersecretary Ed Robles Jr., Regional Office 4B Director Mary Ann Policarpio, and other DHSUD officials.
