Personnel of the Tanay Municipal Police Station, together with members of the Rizal Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested a regional-level most wanted person in a manhunt operation in Barangay Laiban, Tanay, Rizal on Wednesday morning.
The arrested accused was identified only by the alias Rom, 51, and has 41 existing warrants of arrest for the crime of syndicated estafa issued by various regional trial courts, with no bail recommended.
Confiscated from him were one unit of Smith and Wesson Pistol, caliber .40 loaded with seven rounds of ammunition and an extra magazine containing four rounds of ammunition and one unit of Scorpion Evo 3 S1, caliber 9mm loaded with six rounds of ammunition found inside a black backpack.
