3 nabbed for robbing a manufacturing firm in San Mateo, Rizal

Police have arrested three suspects who allegedly robbed a manufacturing company in San Mateo, Rizal on Tuesday morning, 20 January, carting away 17 laptops worth more or less P555,000.

The robbery incident occured at about 3 A.M. in East Asia Laboratory Inc. located at Jose F. Diaz Avenue, Barangay Gulod Malaya, San Mateo.

Investigation disclosed that at about 8:00 AM of this date, upon entering the office, Michelle Meza Lazaro, the company's HR supervisor, noticed that their office cabinets were in disarray then she immediately conducted inspection and inventory wherein she discovered seventeen laptops worth more or less P555,000 were missing.

Upon review of the CCTV footages, the suspects—identified by their aliases as James, 21; Joshua, 17; and Russel, 32–were positively identified by the witness.

A pursuit operation was immediately conducted which resulted in the arrest of the suspects and recovery of the stolen items from their possession, twelve pieces of laptops owned by the EDG HR company while the other laptops were unrecovered.

The arrested suspects were brought to the Casimiro Ynares Hospital for medical examination and then to the San Mateo Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

East Asia Laboratory, Inc. is a manufacturing company of veterinary livestock, poultry, and gamefowl products.
