EPD nabs most wanted fugitive in Marikina

Operatives of the Eastern Police District (EPD) arrested a most wanted person allegedly involved in illegal drug activities in a manhunt operation in Marikina City on Thursday night.

The accused was identified by the alias Jeff, 40, a resident of Barangay Malanday, Marikina City. He is listed as number eight most wanted person station-level

Based on records, “Jeff” and his cohorts were also arrested on September 2021 in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Marikina City Police Station.

The accused was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the acting presiding judge of the Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court Branch 281 for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The arrested suspect was placed under the custody of the Marikina City Police Station custodial facility awaiting for the commitment order from the issuing court.
