Puerto Rican two-belt champion Oscar Collazo remains tight-lipped about his next opponent in a fight being eyed for March in his own backyard.

As the two leading candidates to land a fight with Collazo have become quite vocal, the reigning World Boxing Organization and World Boxing Association titleholder refuses to identify who between Pedro Taduran and Melvin Jerusalem is his choice.

Taduran holds the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title while Jerusalem has the World Boxing Council (WBC) jewels.

Jerusalem actually came out on social media on Wednesday, saying his camp is actually in talks with Collazo, who he had faced and lost to in May 2023.

But Jerusalem insists that he has learned a lot from that bad experience that he is daring Collazo to sign the contract immediately.

Taduran, meanwhile, is also trying to entice Collazo to meet him since they have never fought each other.

Already in Las Vegas and in training mode, Taduran flew out of Manila on New Year’s Day, spent a few days in Los Angeles before settling in Sin City.

Taduran and Jerusalem are coming off title defenses last October while Collazo had his last fight in September, stopping Filipino Jayson Vayson in Indio, California.
