Police arrested two regional-level most wanted persons in separate manhunt operations in the municipalities of Angono and Binangonan in Rizal province on Monday, 12 January.
The accused was identified as alias Rose, 39, a resident of Barangay Kalayaan in Angono, and tagged as a regional-level most wanted person.
She was arrested in an operation conducted by the combined forces of the CIDG Rizal-PFU and the Antipolo Municipal Police Station Warrant Team on Monday at around 10:18 p.m.
The accused was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Antipolo City Regional Trial Court for two counts of violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, with no bail recommended by the court.
Meanwhile, alias Bryan, 43, a resident of Barangay Darangan in Binangonan was also arrested in an operation conducted by operatives of the Antipolo Municipal Police Station on Monday at around 10:30 p.m.
He was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Antipolo City Regional Trial Court for two cases involving violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, with no bail recommendated.
The arrested accused are currently detained at the custodial facility of CIDG Rizal PFU for proper documentation and disposition.
