MSI rolls out gaming laptops at CES

MSI introduced its 2026 laptop lineup at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, led by a redesigned Prestige series aimed at business and productivity users, alongside refreshed gaming models and a new handheld variant.

The company said the new Prestige laptops feature a revised chassis with rounded contours and full-aluminum construction, built around Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. MSI highlighted portability as a key selling point, with the Prestige 14 weighing 1.32 kilograms and the Prestige 16 at 1.59 kg.

MSI said the models come with an 81Wh battery rated for “30+ hours” of 1080p video playback. The lineup also adds Intel Arc B390 graphics and updated thermal management using a vapor chamber, dual-fan setup, and Intra Flow design, with MSI claiming noise levels under 30 dBA.

Convertible models — the Prestige 14 Flip and Prestige 16 Flip — add 2-in-1 flexibility with touch displays and stylus support. MSI said these are bundled with the MSI Nano Pen, which docks into a built-in slot and charges while stored. The company claimed a 15-second charge supports up to 45 minutes of use, with a full charge completed in 30 seconds. The stylus also includes a press-to-talk feature for Microsoft Copilot.

MSI said other upgrades include the Action Touchpad, which it described as 53 percent larger with customizable gesture zones, and enterprise security features such as TPM 2.0 and Windows Hello facial recognition and fingerprint login.

For gaming, MSI unveiled updated Raider, Stealth and Crosshair models with new chassis designs, revised thermals, and a redesigned I/O layout. MSI said the gaming units will feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. The Stealth 16 AI+ was cited as a CES Innovation Award winner in the Computer Hardware & Components category.

MSI also previewed the Modern S series for mainstream users and announced the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition, a special color variant of its gaming handheld.
