Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil turned everyday kitchen purchases into a charitable drive after raising P1.227 million for the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc. (PGHMFI) through its “Share-the-Love with Heart Mate” campaign.
The donation exceeded the brand’s initial P1-million pledge and was officially turned over on 27 November 2025, at Robinsons Supermarket Ermita in partnership with Robinsons Supermarket.
The campaign ran from 15 July to 15 October 2025, with P5 donated to PGHMFI for every Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil product purchased at Robinsons Supermarket nationwide. Proceeds are being used to support PGH medical programs and services, particularly for indigent patients.
“We want to dedicate and honor the loyal consumers of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil today. They have not only shown love, health, and wellness for their families, but have also extended their generosity to their fellow Filipinos,” said Fly Ace Corporation vice president for Marketing Abigail Ng-Reyes.
“This year marks the 25th anniversary of Jolly Heart Mate — 25 years of advocating heart health for every Filipino family. We are very humbled as a company that throughout these 25 years, our consumers have given their trust, love, and support to Heart Mate,” she added.
PGHMFI chairman and president Dr. Telesforo E. Gana Jr. said the donation would directly benefit patients in need.
“Maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po for the donation,” Gana said. “We help indigent patients directly through medical assistance … and by providing equipment and supplies that are beyond our budget.”
Philippine General Hospital director Dr. Gap Legaspi also welcomed the support, saying, “Thank you very much for this. I think this will be a big help in bridging that [critical] period when patients urgently need access to goods or medicines.”
Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. president and CEO Stanley Co said the campaign showed how partnerships can help uplift communities.
“We are honored to stand by Fly Ace, our true ‘Heart Mate.’… When we unite for a greater cause, we show that a supermarket can be more than a place to shop — it can be a place where hearts come together,” Co said.
