DivinaLaw posts 100% passing rate
Published on

The 2025 Bar Examination has ushered in a new generation of legal talent, and DivinaLaw has firmly taken its place in the spotlight. All 14 of the firm’s Underbar Associates passed last year’s grueling exam, for a 100-percent passing rate.

Two of the firm’s rising stars landed in the Top 5: Alaiza A. Adviento, who scored 91.91 percent to claim third place, and Marc Angelo G. Santos, who posted 91.58 percent for fifth place. Both Adviento and Santos are alumni of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law, under the mentorship of Dean Nilo T. Divina, who also heads DivinaLaw and DAILY TRIBUNE legal counsel.

Another UST Law graduate, Spinel Albert Allauigan Declaro, placed second overall with 92.46 percent, meaning DivinaLaw-affiliated lawyers captured three of the Top 5 spots — a remarkable feat reflecting the firm’s dedication to excellence in legal training.

Under Dean Divina’s guidance, DivinaLaw emphasizes practical, results-driven lawyering. The firm provides hands-on experience and mentorship that bridges the gap between law school and professional practice, helping young lawyers develop skills in litigation, corporate law, governance and regulatory work.

According to a post on DivinaLaw’s official Facebook page, its Underbar Associates are expected to carry forward a culture of “prompt, proactive, and dynamic advocacy.”

The UST Faculty of Civil Law, the alma mater of most of DivinaLaw’s top scorers, posted a 96.3-percent passing rate this year, a significant improvement over the 80.4 percent in 2024, further demonstrating the strength of the firm-school partnership in nurturing top-caliber lawyers.

With this milestone, DivinaLaw not only celebrates its 2025 bar success but also cements its role as a launchpad for the Philippines’ next generation of legal leaders, blending mentorship, academic rigor, and real-world experience into a proven formula for success.
