    • Beverly Hills restaurant brawl
    • Steak 48 fight
    • Bangkok bar hair shaving

A fine-dining restaurant in posh Beverly Hills, California was the site of a women’s brawl.

A video shared to TMZ showed two unidentified women punching and pulling each other’s hair as bewildered Steak 48 diners watched and staff tried to pacify them.

TMZ reported that the fight erupted shortly after one of the women sat on the lap of one of a group of men at another table as they offered to pay the bill of another woman befriending them.

When one of the men asked the ladies to tell the lap sitter to get off their friend so they could leave, the other female approached from behind and began swinging and yanking the sitter’s hair, prompting punches in response, according to TMZ.

The women wouldn’t be pacified until police arrived and removed them from the restaurant. The brawlers were not taken into custody and, bizarrely, later explained what sparked their fight in an interview with TMZ. The two even wished each other well afterward.

Meanwhile, another customer lost a lot of hair in a Bangkok bar.

The unnamed woman reportedly used a fake ID to enter a popular bar on 25 August and tried to slip out of the venue without paying her 60,000-baht bill, New York Post (NYP) reports, citing Viral Press.

Staff caught her and demanded payment but the woman, notorious for skipping her bills at clubs and restaurants in the Pinklao area of the Thai capital, had no money.

A video of how the bar manager made the customer settle her bill went viral.

In the video, the bartender used an electric razor to shave off the woman’s thick, shoulder-length locks, which she would supposedly donate, NYP reports.

Before the shave, she was shown holding her fake ID in one hand and a “hair purchase contract” in the other, in which she apparently consented to having her hair cut.

Thailand’s non-government Be One Foundation, which deals with child abuse, later called out the bar for its punishment, which was too harsh. The owner reached out to the organization to apologize and offered compensation to the woman’s family.
