Personnel of the Taytay Municipal Police Station apprehended a regional-level most wanted person in a manhunt operation in Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, on Wednesday evening.
The suspect was identified only by the alias “Benok,” 19, single, unemployed, a senior high school-level student, and a resident of the barangay.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by the Cainta Regional Trial Court Branch 143 for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.
Police said the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and is currently in the custody of the Taytay Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for proper documentation and disposition.
