A regional-level most wanted person was arrested by operatives of the Antipolo Component City Police Station in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City, on Saturday afternoon.
The 59-year-old suspect, identified only by the alias “Teleboy,” was apprehended by the tracker team by virtue of a warrant of arrest for three counts of lascivious conduct and one count of statutory rape.
The warrant was issued by the Antipolo City Family Court Branch 17, which recommended bail of P200,000 for each count of lascivious conduct, while no bail was recommended for the statutory rape charge.
Following his arrest, the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and is currently detained at the Antipolo Component City Police Station.
“The swift arrest of the accused demonstrates the police force's serious commitment to protecting children and upholding justice for the victims,” said Rizal police provincial director P/Col. Feloteo Gonzalgo.
