A suspected drug pusher was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Antipolo Component City Police Station’s drug enforcement team early Saturday morning in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City.
Police said approximately 30 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated standard drug price of P204,000, were seized from the suspect during the operation.
The arrested individual was identified only by the alias “Mar,” 30, who was described as a street-level individual allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade in the area.
The buy-bust operation was carried out in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). Authorities recovered six sachets of suspected shabu, a coin purse, and P500 in buy-bust money.
The suspect is currently detained at the Antipolo Component City Police Station custodial facility as authorities prepare the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
