Several parts of the country are expected to have cloudy skies and rain over the next 24 hours due to three weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and mainland Cagayan.

Easterlies will affect the Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental, causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rain over Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Kalinga, and Ilocos Norte, with lighter rains over the rest of the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides, as strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough seas are expected over extreme northern Luzon.
