The turnover of Community Assurance Support projects to Pasinaya Homes Prime Central residents marks the first release of community benefits under the world-first NING*NING model, which integrates utility-scale solar generation with socialized housing.

Jin~Navitas Solaris Inc. (SOLARIS), the renewable energy arm of the JoyNostalg Group, has turned over Community Assurance Support projects to residents of Pasinaya Homes Prime Central in Naic, Cavite, delivering direct safety, health, and community upgrades in exchange for the use of rooftops for grid-connected solar power.
The turnover marks the first release of community benefits under the world-first NING*NING model, which integrates utility-scale solar generation with socialized housing.
The benefits are provided annually under a long-term usufruct agreement and are contract-anchored to ensure sustained support for homeowners while solar power feeds the national grid.
Implemented with Extraordinary Enclaves and the Joy~Nostalg Foundation, the ceremony was witnessed by Department of Energy Assistant Secretary Mandy Romero, Pag-IBIG Fund representatives, community leaders, and the local government of Naic, highlighting the project’s multi-stakeholder structure linking housing, clean energy, and homeowner welfare.
“This is our way of showing appreciation and of showing that we are serious,” said Jacinto Ng, Jr., group executive officer of Joy~Nostalg Group.
“This fulfills promises beyond contractual obligation. Our goal is not just returns, but bettering lives — here in the community, across the country, and ultimately for the world,” he stressed.
This year, the Community Assurance Support addresses needs identified with residents, including security measures such as motorcycle patrols, radios, and CCTV systems; health and education initiatives such as daycare improvements, school supplies, and health center upgrades; and community and leisure projects covering clubhouse enhancements and play areas.
A representative of the Pasinaya Homes Prime Central Homeowners Association described the turnover as “a clear and concrete set of commitments” and said the group is ready to work with SOLARIS and its partners to sustain the programs so families benefit over the long term.
Jose Alfonso Miras, president and CEO of Jin~Navitas Solaris Inc., said the model works because homeowners are treated as partners.
“Without a grid-connected solar facility built on rooftops like this, especially in socialized housing, this scale of clean energy and community benefit simply wouldn’t happen the same way,” he said.
Adrian Cantor, COO of Extraordinary Enclaves, said the project helps preserve housing affordability. “On behalf of the homeowners, we sincerely thank SOLARIS for subsidizing the profitability of Pasinaya Homes. This ensures that the Zero Equity affordability of owning a home remains sustainable, allowing more families to achieve their dream of homeownership,” he said.
For his part, Terence Christopher Ang, CEO of Joy~Nostalg Foundation, said the program benefits all residents.
“Through its Community Assurance Support, SOLARIS’ Community Improvement Program benefits all homeowners by enhancing the value of their homes and strengthening the community,” he said.
