Two high-value individuals were arrested by operatives of the Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Palangoy, Binangonan, Rizal on Thursday afternoon.
Police seized about 60.8 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P413,440 during the operation.
The suspects were identified by their aliases Zaldy, 42, and Uge, 47, both of whom were classified as high-value individuals allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade.
Authorities also recovered five packets of suspected shabu, a black coin purse, marked buy-bust money, a cellular phone, and a motorcycle.
The suspects are currently detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station custodial facility as police prepare to file criminal charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
