Bolts enter PBA quarterfinals

CJ Cansino dropped a career-high 29 points as Meralco punched a ticket to the quarterfinals after a 105-84 victory over Converge in the Phililpine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Sunday.

Cansino waxed hot, shooting 10-of-17 from the field as the Bolts improved to a 6-4 win-loss record.

Cliff Hodge got 18 points while Aaron Black chipped in 16 points for Meralco.

Juan Gomez de Liaño led Converge with 27 points, five rebounds and five assists as they dropped to a 6-4 slate.
