UST elevates historic grounds with ‘Encantadia’-inspired illumination display

This year, University of Santo Tomas (UST) transforms its campus into an Encantadia-inspired spectacle, bringing one of the most beloved Filipino fantasy dramas to life. Fans of all ages now have the chance to experience the enchantment firsthand — right in the heart of the university.

Encantadia first aired on GMA Network on 2 May and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Its legacy continues today with Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre (2025), which extends the saga for a new generation of viewers.

The original series and its 2016 reboot follow the four Sang’gre sisters, guardians of their realm and protectors of the four elemental gems — fire, water, earth and air.
